The lake of Cantone is part of the protected area of the Parco del Roccolo as a crossroads for many species of migratory birds and an ideal habitat for many species of native animals. Thanks to an impressive work of restructuring and adaptation of the banks, routes and the building at the entrance, today it is a pleasant meeting place not only for lovers of sports fishing but also for all those who want to take a walk, have a picnic or stop on the terrace to remire the pond surrounded by a setting that seems taken from a mountain landscape.
