Pond park "The Cave"of Nerviano

Where there was a quarry of sand and gravel, in the 90s thanks to the will and determination of citizens and associations was born this beautiful park with a beautiful lake in the center. Thanks to its 1250 meters of dirt track with various differences in height, the park is well known and frequented by lovers of cross-country running, by those who want to take a walk or take advantage of the fitness trail. Of particular interest is the well-kept and well-organized botanical garden. On October 22, 2016 the park of Laghetto was named after Angelo Vassallo, killed by the underworld for his constant commitment in defending the environment and the territory that earned him the nickname of "Mayor Fisherman".
