Description
OFFICINA RANCILIO 1926 is a museum owned by the Rancilio family, a cultural space created with the aim of making known, preserving and enhancing the historical heritage, the collection and the photographic archive of the company and the family.
Today, the museum's holdings include: sixty historical machines produced by Rancilio from 1927 to 1980 and twenty vintage grinders, a historical archive of images and documents that tell the story of the family and the company, the evolution of Rancilio's advertising, historical images of coffee machines, photographs of sporting events organized and sponsored by Rancilio.
The exhibition venue, of about 150 sq. m., is located in the center of Parabiago, in Via Galeazzi 18-22, in a part of the real estate reconstruction of the area where in 1927 Roberto Rancilio created his first coffee machine: La Regina, within the walls of his workshop.
The Museum is home to temporary exhibitions and offers educational tours for schools of different levels, it also hosts conventions, meetings and conferences of various local associations.
Officina Rancilio 1926, was the first
Italian museum in the
coffee machine sector and is part of Museimpresa, the Italian
Association of
Business Archives and Museums promoted by Assolombarda and
Confindustria.
OPENING HOURS: Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for guided tours by appointment.
