Description
This
building is the house-workshop of Giuseppe
Maggiolini, the most famous furniture-maker of Lombardy in the second half of '700. In 1770
Giuseppe is the cabinet-maker of the archduke
Fernando of Austria and his little workshop become an estimated
shop
visited by the most illustrious characters of the time. At the end of
the
century in his workshop worked around 30 artisans able to carve over 80
types
of wood. Nowadays the building is a private property, but in the low
ground it
has been maintained the original bricks at sight and in the first floor
the
plasters with bright colors and geometric motifs around the windows and
at the
corners.
