Description
The Carla Musazzi Museum was inaugurated on October 16, 1988 thanks to the will of Mrs. Carla Musazzi Re Depaolini and Monsignor Marco Ceriani.
The collection of the Museum had a particular way of formation, that is, the contribution of objects and documents by citizens: a proposal made by one of the founders, Monsignor Ceriani, who gradually enriched this collection with a substantial documentary and book heritage of his own.
Over time, other objects and archival materials were added, "because it is clear that the Museum is not a fossil, but a living organism in continuous growth thanks to the contribution of new energies.
(Mons. Marco Ceriani)
In 2012, in addition to a new layout of the Exhibition Hall, a hall was made available for temporary exhibitions, which is mainly used for art, sculpture and photography exhibitions; but that over time, has also hosted the exhibition section "The memory of the city", of the important event on Giuseppe Maggiolini (2014), and in 2015, an exhibition on the figure of one of the founders of the museum: Monsignor Marco Ceriani.
At the spaces that accommodate the Museum you can also participate in conferences, book presentations, educational workshops, and courses on artistic techniques.
