The event, for some years now, has the aim to
promote the recovery of the Church of Sant'Ambrogio della Vittoria and the
adjoining Cistercian Monastery Parabiago the community, through the creation of
events that intend to enhance this National Monument. The historical
re-enactment "The Return of the Princess" refers to what is narrated
in the e-book "A queen in Parabiago," that the visit of the Princess
Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick on 21 and 22 June 1708 at the Cistercian
Monastery and the Church of Sant 'Ambrogio della Vittoria in Parabiago.
